Those listed are just the ones on the outside, when you add the details of kitchens, bathrooms, boilers etc. which are linked to a property you can see how asset registers are expanding by a factor of 10 or more.

SORP 2008 demands that every asset is broken down into its component parts, with each component potentially having different economically useful lifespans.
